Gotta vent

I am really quite sick of everyone saying that people who don't agree 100% with the President or the current administration are close-minded, ignorant, and racist. Part of what makes this country so great is that people have the freedom of speech and opinion, and you're not dragged into the street and shot if you oppose its leaders. This has been a bi-partisan country for over 100 years, and a variance in opinion in POLITICS, or the way this country is run, or the laws and regulations that are implemented, should not stop now just because the country finally elected a president that wasn't "some old white guy" or because he offers hope and change. I don't think that makes you any of the things above, I just think it means you have enough brain power to think for yourself and not believe EVERYTHING that ANY politician has say. And to so starkly judge people like that you are no better than those you label "ignorant and close-minded". This is a free country, and unless part of the change President Obama talks about is taking AWAY that freedom (which does not appear to be the case, despite what his severe and ultra radical opposers think) then people are entitled to their opinion.
